
ELSTONE RETAINED FOR 2022/23
The Lions are delighted to announce our second signing for the 2022/23 season. We have mutually agreed to retain the services of Striker Mike Elstone, keeping him at SSV for another season. Elstone played 19 times for Town in the 21/22 North West Counties First Division South season scoring 8 goals in all competitions and picking up 2 Man of the Match awards as well. Town Extend Calligan's Contract
The Lions are delighted to announce our first signing for the 2022/23 season. We have mutually agreed to exercise the option in Will Calligan's contract, keeping him at SSV for another season. Calligan played 30 times for Town in the 21/22 North West Counties First Division South season scoring 12 goals in all competitions, finishing as Towns top goalscorer and picking up 3 Man of the Match awards as well. SECOND PRE SEASON FRIENDLY ANNOUNCED
Town's second Pre Season Friendly see's us host recent NWCFL 1st Division South Champions West Didsbury & Chorlton. Chris Rowley leads his Champions to SSV on Monday 11th July with Kick Off at 7.30pm. Admission information for our Pre Season Friendlies will be announced in due course.

First Pre Season Friendly Confirmed
Lee Duckworth's NWCFL Premier Division Winsford United side are our first opponents in Pre Season as we host the Cheshire side at SSV on Saturday 2nd July 2022 with a 3pm Kick Off. Winsford United finished the season in a very respectable 11th place in the NWCFL Premier Division and will provide a good contest for Town. Our Pre Season programme is coming along nicely and we will be announcing some further fixtures very soon, along with admission details.

After our great performance at The Bowl in Douglas in March, where we unfortunately lost in the last minute against Play Off Finalists FC Isle Of Man. We gained a lot of friends in Douglas and had a wonderful time on the Island.
