The Lions last match was a disappointing result as they crashed out in the Macron Cup as Droylsden won 3-0 in SK6 and progressed to the 3rd round. A George Kattah hat trick sealed the win.

AFC Liverpool are in their fourth season in the NWCFL Premier division after earning promotion in the 2021. So far this season they sit 10th in the table, just a point ahead of Town and are tied on points with Irlam but are behind them by goal difference.

The Little Reds have lost their last three games against the teams of Bury, Asthon Athletic and Litherland REMYCA. Last time out for AFC Liverpool they lost 3-1 at home against the struggling side of Litherland REYCA. Tomorrow, they come to Stockport to end their winless streak and keep up with the rest of the top half of league.
