Stockport Town look to win another game to have a positive end to the season but they face Third place Ramsbottom United for one of the final three fixtures for both clubs in the North West Counties Football League Premier Division

The Lions are welcomed by The Rams to Harry Williams Riverside Stadium as the hosts look to keep their slim title hopes alive this Saturday.

Last time out for The Lions it was a dominate 3-1 win at home against FC St Helens. Two goals from Keane Barugh and a well placed header from Harrison Lomakin-Rogers secured the win for Town.

This result saw Stockport Town move up into 10th place but for FC St Helens they would be knocked out of contention for the playoff places.

The last time The Rams and The Lions played each other it ended in a 1-0 win for Ramsbottom United at Stockport Sports Village.

Ramsbottom United are currently in their second season in the NWCFL Premier Division after being relegated from the Norther Premier League West Division in the 2022/2023 campaign. So far this season Ramsbottom sit in third place and are seven points off top of the table Bury FC and four points behind Lower Breck in second place.

The Rams are currently on a five-game winning streak with the wins coming against Charnock Richard, Litherland REMYCA, West Didsbury & Chorlton, South Liverpool and Prestwich Heys. Their most recent match ended in a 2-1 win against Prestwich Heys with a late goal from Luke Barlow securing the win.
