This weekend, Stockport Town return to Stockport Sports Village as we welcome Runcorn Town for the Second Round Qualifying of the Buildbase FA Vase.

The Lions come into the tie looking to continue their progress in this prestigious national competition, having advanced from the First Round Qualifying with a 3–0 victory over Selby Town back in August. That result underlined the quality and attacking intent within the side, and Town will be eager to carry that momentum into Saturday’s contest.

Our visitors, Runcorn Town, arrive at SSV in excellent form and currently sit at the top of their division. Their strong start to the season highlights the scale of the challenge ahead, and Stockport know they will need to be at their very best to book a place in the next round.
