Atherton LR 5 - 0 Stockport Town
After Saturdays FA vase win Town travelled to Atherton for there Bank Holiday Fixture
Town hadn’t got out of the blocks and within 10 mins found themselves 2-0 down
Town managed to get a foothold in the game which saw a 30 yard Kavaterik effort narrowly go wide of the LR Goal
Toby Green then saw his acrobatical effort gathered easily by the LR keeper
Just before the break the hosts went 3-0 up after a scramble in the area which saw Romano prod home

Things got worse for Town when on 70 minutes when substitute Alley beat 2 Town defenders to curl a nice finish beyond Schofield. 4-0 to the home side.
Town then had their best spell of game, A close call saw Kattah convert only for the linesman to have his flag raised for offside. Minutes later Towns Number 9, Kattah saw his header go wide.
Atherton LR pushed for a 5th but a Schofield save denied them as the game entered the final 10 minutes.
In the final minutes Atherton LR grabbed their 5th goal of the game
Town then went close to grabbing a consolation when a Depeiaza curling effort rebounded back off the bar.
