Schofield Signs for Town

We are delighted to announce that Goalkeeper Joshua Schofield has committed his future to Stockport Town FC by signing on a 2 year deal with the club holding the option to extend by a further year, after his contract with Stockport County expired on 1st July.

Josh spent the 2021.22 Season on loan with us at Stockport Sports Village and the 19 Year excelled winning the NWCFL 1st Division South Goalkeeper of the month for March.

Speaking on the most recent signing Manager Paul Turnbull said " It's great news for us that Josh has committed to Town, he is only young but has experience playing in Non League and is another great addition. Josh showed last season his hunger to excel and develop and we are sure he will be a great asset to the Football Club"
