Town welcomed Selby Town to Stockport Sports Village for the 1st Qualifying Round of this years FA Vase.
Town started the brighter of the two sides with Atkinson going close early on.
An injury to full back Kirby after 7 minutes saw Town reshuffle with Gardner coming on in midfield and Monaghan switching to full back.
Two great saves from the visitors keeper, Joe Wilton kept the scoreline at 0-0
Selby Town pressed but were denied by a great Schofield save.
Midway through the half A neat one-two from Harvey and Barugh saw the latters shot deflected, A neat flick on by Kattah found Fowles who Hammered home from the 6 yard box to open the scoring - 1-0 Town
Town were pushing for a 2nd which saw Atkinsons effort once again superbly saved by the Selby Town keeper.
The visitors were having there best spell of the game and should have equalised only to be denied by Josh Schofields upright.

An early Town effort from Padden was easily saved
On the hour mark Town stretched their lead. Fowles contested a through ball which fell to Monaghan and his shot across goal nestled in the bottom corner - 2-0 Town
Both teams made substitutes which stopped the flow of the game.
Green and Kavaternik both saw efforts narrowly go wide but not long after Town wrapped thing up on 82 minutes when a Selby Town defensive error saw Kattah nick the ball off the keeper to roll into an empty net - Town 3-0
With minutes of the game remaining Depeiazas shot flashed wide and Kavaterik then saw his curling effort from 20 yards brush the post and out for a goal kick.
