Town Agree Deal with Russell

Stockport Town Football Club are delighted to announce that experienced Left Back Matt Russell has agreed to join The Lions from 1st July 2022 on a 1 Year Deal *

Matt has most recently been playing for 1874 Northwich in the Northern Premier League Division One West.

Paul Turnbull, Town Manager said of the signing " This is a brilliant signing for us and I am really pleased that we have managed to agree a deal with Matt Russell. Matty is a quality, experienced left back who will really benefit the squad."

Russell spoke on signing for Town " I am pleased to agree to sign for Stockport Town FC, the project and ambition of the club and it's staff really excited me and I cannot wait to get started"
