Triple Signing - Tanswell Vargas, Banda and Walsh Agree New Deals

Manager Paul Tunrbull has pulled off another coup as youngsters, Leandro Tanswell Vargas, Keith Banda and Jamie Walsh agree new deals with the club, which will see them play for Town through the 2022/23 season.

Leandro made an impressive 30 appearance for Town last season in the heart of Midfield putting in some excellent displays, especially at Brocton where he scored 2 fantastic goals on a very wet afternoon in Staffordshire. Leandro has very kindly been sponsored by Isle Of Man residents, Nigel and Graham McFarlane for the 2022/23 season, we thank the duo very much for their kind support of The Lions.

Attacker Jamie Walsh featured 17 times in the 21/22 season scoring 4 goals, 2 of which came against local side Cheadle Heath Nomads, Walsh' last goal was a memorable finish against Maine Road which was scored after just 17 seconds.

Keith Banda arrived at Town in February and scored 2 goals on his debut for Town in what was a great performance and 7-0 win away Cheadle Heath Nomads. Keith went onto make a further 6 appearances for Town. His season was cut short due to injury.
